Hello Giuseppe,

You can even go to the youtube parameters, show the subtitles, choose the Russian language and translate it to your language (Italian ?)

Ok.jmichael... I saw the video and it's how I was doing the attempts but my software doesn't start from the PC. Does anyone have an older version of 16? Or can you send me the 16? I downloaded it from the HP site but it won't start downloading even after I put the printer in download image!

Hello Giuseppe,

I put the firmware on 1fichier server.

Go to reddit, search for

hp MFP 178 firmware

and you will get the adress of the requested file. HP doesn't allow to put adresses for files in the forum (see previous article in this discussion)

Anyway, the firmware file (v16) on the HP support site is the same on the 1fichier server.

Good morning, I tried this procedure but I noticed that the computer does not detect the printer when the printer is in download image and everything fails! Has anyone managed to solve this problem or not had it at all? Thanks
