Product: HP Color Laser MFP 178nw
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Some Word or PDF documents print complete garbage. 

 

Steps taken already:

- Updated from Catalina to Big Sur (complete new install)

- Installed HP software on new OS

- Reset printer through technical menu (memory reset, I think it was called)

 

Sometimes, the issue disappears after turning the printer off and on again.

 

Any suggestions?

Is the printer connected via USB or through the network?

 

May you see any difference when using another connection type?

It's connected through the network (ethernet).
