My HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281cdw is turning itself off and will not turn back on.  The only way to get it back working is to unplug the power from the back of the printer for a few minutes then plugging it back in.    Yes it works once that is done, but why does it keep doing that?

Any advice would be appreciated

Hello Danny,

I experienced a similar issue, though not identical. The unplugging didn't help get the printer back on in my scenario. I struggled to find help from HP support, but solved the issue myself. I wrote a post about it: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/Color-LaserJet-Pro-MFP-281c...

I hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you need more detail that what I've written there.

Good luck!
