HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477 doesn't print in color with my new HP ENVY laptop

I have been using my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fnw for a couple years with no problems.  Now I got a new HP ENVY laptop with Windows 11 and the printer doesn't print in color.  When I started the laptop, the printer installed automatically and it works fine except no color.  Just greyscale.

That sounds like a driver issue: if you can make color copies and even print internal reports like supply status page in color, that is the confirmation the issue is the driver installed on your computer.

You can install HP Smart and then add your printer from there. In addition, there are other drivers you can try (Easy Start, Full SW Solution, even Universal Print Driver), but in most of the cases HP Smart will do just fine.
