i can't reset wifi, it ask for a password. i have bourgt it from a secondhand stor

Hello Jesperlp,

 

Based on your description, it seems the original owner set some administrator password on that printer. If that is the case, a hard reset will be necessary to remove such protection.

 

Unfortunately, due to its potential harms and consequences like losing all user-defined values like wifi password, user profiles, scan to email etc, we are not allowed to provide the steps to perform such hard reset on a printer that is second-hand and most likely out of warranty now. 

 

However, that does not prevent you to search in other resources over the internet on how to perform a hard reset on your Laserjet M477.

 

If you cannot find any online resources to do so, you can also take the printer to a certified repair center so they can to the reset for you.
