Product: HP Color Laserjet CP5225

Good morning everyone, my name is Umberto.

I have to replace the formatter board CE490-60001 on a Laserjet CP5225 because it no longer communicates via network card or USB. I read that after the physical installation of the new card, the old printer parameters must be reconfigured, but I didn't understand how to do it.

I would be very grateful to anyone who can give me the instructions to follow step by step.

Where can I find the hexprint.exe or hpnpf software to send the printer configuration files?

The printer data is saved to new formatter board from the DC controller board after the new formatter is installed.

 

Is the printer working after the formatter is replaced? If yes, leave it.
