Hi there folks of the internet and HP Support Team,

 

In short:-

- HP DeskJet 1050A All-in-One series printer not working with macbook air m1 2020 - macOS Big Sur 11.4.

ANY assistance will be much appreciated.

- not able to find software required for the printer, HP virtual agent support not helpful, HP Smart not able to detect the printer ('finding printer' even overnight), tried all the prompts of reconnecting USB cable etc, NO solution thus far.

 

This printer been working absolutely just fine all these years with my Asus Windows laptop (no longer functioning hence Macbook air m1 now main laptop).

 

HP support if you exist, please do help. Will really appreciate it very much.

I've the same problem.

Instaled HP Smart, printer is ready but it doesn't work.

The error message says that PDE.plugin, Inkjet9.driver and HPDM.framework files may damage my computer.
