HP Deskjet 1510 All-in-One Printer
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

The product name is an HP DeskJet 1510, I have the printer connected via USB to my MacBook Pro. I have not used the printer in a couple of years but expected my set-up and printing to be easy, I was wrong. My mac kept telling me that printer files were unsafe and harmful, so I deleted all of the driver files, and installed the newest driver software. If I press the power button on my printer for a few seconds, it prints out a sheet that says, "For better printing quality, scan this page". So I know the printer can print, and that my Ink cartridges are fine. Attempting to print something and all I get is a job sitting in the printing queue saying "Printing page 1" then onto "printing page 2", all while not actually printing anything, and then the queue freezes and it says "Printing - waiting for the printer to become available". I've restarted both my mac and the printer, and the USB connection. I'm usually tech-savvy, but this is driving me insane, help, please.
