My Black ink has has stopped working even though there still ink left in it. I have tried everything with no joy. Any ideas or tips please?

Hi @Alexw86

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand the printer is not printing in black. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Try making a standalone copy in black and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

Which device are you using to print?

 

Perform steps 11 and 9 respectively from this document.

 This is colour copy.This is colour copy.

but black and white copy prints blank paper. 

P.S colour copy is not very clear. i have tried cleaning print heads and so on with no joy.

I'm afraid this could be an issue with the ink cartridge. Please contact our HP Support team for Service Options:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
