To install your HP DeskJet 2721e printer without using the HP Smart app follow these steps.

Unbox and Set Up the Printer:

• Unbox the printer and remove all packaging materials.
• Insert the ink cartridges.
• Load paper into the input tray.

Connect the Printer to Power:

• Plug the printer into a power source and turn it on.

Connect the Printer to Your Network (Wi-Fi):

Method 1: Using the Printer's Control Panel

1. On the printer, press the Wi-Fi button until the light starts blinking.
2. On the printer screen, select the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard.
3. Choose your network from the list and enter the Wi-Fi password.
4. Wait for the connection to complete. The Wi-Fi light should stop blinking and remain solid.

Method 2: Using WPS (if your router supports it)

1. Press and hold the WPS button on your router.
2. On the printer, press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the light starts blinking.
3. After a few moments, the printer should connect to your network.

Install Printer Driver on Your Computer:

Windows:

1. Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
2. Click Add a printer or scanner.
3. Select the HP DeskJet 2721e when it appears and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Mac:

1. Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
2. Click the + button to add a printer.
3. Select your HP DeskJet 2721e from the list and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Test the Printer:
