HP Recommended

I'm stuck trying to access the Embedded Web Server (EWS) on my HP DeskJet 3630 and could really use some detailed guidance.

What's happening

  • I can't get into the printer's EWS page or change any of the web settings.

  • I've spent a couple of hours going through HP support articles and videos without success.​

  • Every time I try to reach the EWS (via IP, HP Smart, etc.), I either get blocked, asked for credentials that don't work.​

Things I've already tried

  • Used HP Smart on both PC and mobile​

  • Typed the printer's IP address directly in browser on my PC and phone (same network).​

  • Reset network settings by pressing and holding Wireless + Cancel on the printer for ~3 seconds.​​

  • Tried power cycling the printer, router, and PC.​

  • Checked HP Support Community threads about EWS password reset / factory reset for the DeskJet 3630 series.​

Despite all this, I still can’t get clean access to the EWS.
