Loads of people have asked this question and I have not once yet seen an answer that works.

The below answers have all been given in multiple support forum posts BY HP EMPLOYEES

- Press and Hold [POWER] button and {CANCEL] button until a diagnostics page prints.

- Press and Hold {WIRELESS] button and [CANCEL] button for three seconds.

- Unplug the power cord for 60 seconds.

- Reset the WPS PIN

- Reset the Network Settings

- Download the HP Smart App

NONE OF THESE METHODS WORK.  In fact, the screen capture above is taken FROM HP Smart.

 

To be CRYSTAL CLEAR, this is an ADMINISTRATIVE PASSWORD TO ACCESS THE PASSWORD AND ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS..

 

Can someone from HP PLEASE answer this question?  Directly, and correctly please, without being referred to HP Support.

 

Also, the HP Link to the user manual for this model printer does not work.
