HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4535 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer started displaying 'Ink Cartidges Problem' error after latest firmware update (31/07/2018 version). I could print using the same original cartridge just before the update. I replaced the black ink cartridge with a new original one. However, I got the same error. So, it seems to be an issue caused by the firmware update.

I followed all the troubleshooting steps including hard reset. However, the issue was not resolved.

Can I do a firmware downgrade? Or do you have a fix for the issue that was caused by this update?

Here are photos of the error an the new cartridge box:

@Barachiel

Thanks for your reply.

When I click OK and try to print anything, I get the same error message again. It's not related to low ink, it seems that the printer can't detect the cartridge anymore (neither the old one that used to work nor the new one I've just purchased).

I've noticed that this issue started to occur the same day I updated the firmware of the printer.

Thanks!
