I have this Hp Deskjet 1000 Printer a few years back and worked back then. But now when I press on the power button it immediatly starts flashing and doesn't stop and doesn't even do that little boot up when you first turn the printer on. I tried every solution out there to solve the problem but none worked out but im open for anymore suggestions and adivise on what I can do. Please Help soon as possible. Thanks.

Hello, @Kanji232 – Hope you are well 🙂
Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
I see that you are having issues with the Deskjet printer.
Check Blinking Lights on the HP Deskjet 1000 (J110a, J110c, J110d, J110e, and J110f) Printers to troubleshoot and fix the issue. Follow the steps which are listed under the blinking lights pattern you are experiencing with the printer.
Once done, perform a power drain as suggested below:
- Remove the cartridges from the printer.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Let me know if that helps!
Good luck 🙂
