I bought a used HP Deskjet 1112; in very good condition... It is the model able to print with only the color HP 63 Tricolor cartridge. I installed a new HP Tricolor OEM cartridge. I downloaded the software driver from the HP website. But when I try to print I get error message: Stopped - 'Filter' Failed, 1 page
Any ideas please?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to print and getting an error.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you remove the printer driver from the computer and then download and install the printer driver from the below link and check if it helps.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip
Refer to the below article for detailed steps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hello, thanks for your response... I performed the steps per your reply.
1) I removed to the Trash the HP printer driver, and also removed the HP app Folder in my Mac Applications Folder too.
2) Then I deleted those Trash contents.
3) Then I restarted my MacBook Air OS 10.13.6 High Sierra
(The HP Deskjet 1112 was turned on, and the working USB cable was firmly inserted into the printer and my MacBook Air)
4) Then I downloaded and installed the HP Easy Start on the link from your Reply message (Version 2.10.0, copyright 2013-2020, Last Modified November, 12, 2020)
5) At the conclusion of the installation, the dialog box prompted me to print a Test Page
6) Then, after the printer said: "Sending data to Printer" ... it gave the error msg "Stopped - Filter Failed, 1 page"
Any ideas? Thank you!

Hello, thanks for your response again... I performed these steps per your next reply:
a) Click on Apple Icon>> Click on About this Mac> Click Software Update to get the latest available update.
(There was no new software update for my MacBook Air High Sierra OS 10.13.6)
b) I then did this:
Step 2: Uninstall HP Easy Start
- Click on Spotlight icon and type HP Uninstaller or by opening HP Easy Start.
- Click on Continue to uninstall the software.
- When prompted for Password, type in your system password
- You can also uninstall by opening HP Easy Start (I did not have to do this)
c) (After Step 2, I restarted my Macintosh)
d) Step 3: Download HP Easy Start and Install the printer.
- Go to Software and Driver download page on hp.com.
- Type in your printer model no.
- Download HP Easy Start and follow the on screen to complete the installation.
e) At the conclusion of the installation, the dialog box prompted me to print a Test Page
Printer: "Sending data to Printer" ... then error msg "Stopped - Filter Failed, 1 page"
Not sure why the print command is unable to communicate to the printer ... very curious.
