Hello, I have HP Deskjet 2132 all in one printer product number K7N78B. I have an issue and I hope you could help me please. I need to print labels, but I don't have option for labels in the paper type. I have tried various sizes available, but none of them is working and the text is misleading. I have created the labels in Avery site. I have tried using Google Chrome, Adobe Acrobat and nothing works. Please any advice, is this printer even set to print labels and how to do it?

Printer might be able to print your labels.

It's unclear which Avery label template you are using.

One or more of the following bits of advice might help you print your labels...

I've never created the label using the Avery online software - I am guessing that you have a PDF format file to be printed.  In fact, if this is the case - If you can do so, download / save the document onto your own computer to print.  Saving the document to your computer eliminates any dependency on printing from a browser.

If you must use the browser, remember to check the "More Settings" section or click on the Printer Properties to access whatever settings are available in the printer software.

Printer Software

Make sure you have installed the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software.

Which paper type?

The paper type "Brochure" can be used with many Avery label sheets.

"Various sizes"

In my experience, most label templates are for either standard paper size (A4 in your region) or possibly 4x6 inches.

Yes, stand label sheet sizes could be different in your location.

"Text is misleading"

I do not know what this means.

Next,

Paper Size not listed

Assuming for the moment that you have indeed created a custom sized label document,

This printer's Full Feature Software might be able to create a custom paper size form.

The "might" comes from the old specifications that indicate only MacOS supports custom paper sizes.

What if?

The version of the full driver software and the instructions in the how-to document do indicate you might be able to take advantage of the custom paper size form setup in your OS.

Hello, thanks for your reply.

I am trying to install the printer software, but it shows error 5 for package, it says I must be a member of the administrators group to install driver package. Could you help me install it?

Thank you

The Avery paper is UtraGrip, it is an A4 size, but actual labels are 21 per sheet each one is 63.5 x 38.1 mm.

You are welcome.

Error 5 is a permission error.

Reminder – First Step “Run as Administrator” is crucial in Section: HP PC Solution

Sheet size = A4

The individual labels on the sheet are not important to the printing process.

I have no information on the particular paper "UtraGrip" and I cannot comment on it.

As long as the paper weight does not exceed the limit for card (200gsm) , label, or Brochure (180 gsm), the paper might print.

If I have anything else to offer, I'll edit this message or post back.
