I purchased HP Deskjet 2635 and I have spent hours and hours trying to connect the printer. The instuctions direct you to the HP website but the printer is not even listed. Then the website connects you to the 2600 series but all I keep getting is error messages. I have install and uninstall the 2600 series software about 5 times and the printer still will not connect or print. The intructions that come with the printer are so generic and don't even recognize the 2635 series. What a waste of time for what I thought was an inexpensive printer.

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Flower_Bud is at your service.
As I understand, your printer does not connect to Wireless network,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Is Wi-Fi light blinking or steady?
What is the operating system on the PC?
Did you install printer full feature drivers?
What is the error message while trying to connect the printer to the network?
NOTE: Ensure you're connecting the printer to the 2.4Ghz network
While you respond to that, let's try these steps to resolve the issue:
Restore network settings to default settings
● Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for three seconds.
Once completed, then reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi following one of the methods:
Method 1: Push Button Configuration (PBC) method
1. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for more than three seconds to start WPS push mode. The Wireless light starts blinking.
2. Press the WPS button on your router.
NOTE: The product begins a timer for approximately two minutes while a wireless connection is established.
If the printer connects successfully, the blue Wireless light stops blinking and remains on.
Method 2: To use the PIN method:
1. Press the Wireless button and Information button at the same time to print the network configuration page, and then locate a WPS PIN.
2. Press and hold the Wireless button from the printer control panel for more than three seconds. The wireless light starts blinking.
3. Open the configuration utility or software for the wireless router or wireless access point, and then enter the WPS PIN.
NOTE: For more information about using the configuration utility, see the documentation provided with the router or wireless access point.
Wait for about two minutes. If the printer connects successfully, the blue Wireless light stops blinking and remains on.
Method 3: Connect the printer to Wireless following steps from the article:
For Windows: Click here
For MAC: Click here
Let me know how that pans out
