I had change the printer password to a custom one and murdered down however I can't find where I wrote it and can't remember what password I used. I'm trying to set the printer on a Windows 10 laptop and a New cell phone however since I can't remember the password I am unable to set the printer up. How do I reset the printer password?? Do I need to factory reset the printer all together and if so how is that done?? Please help!!

@Narcky73, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to make changes to the settings on the printer. We need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
