Product: HP DeskJet 2721 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I just purchased an HP DeskJet 2721 Printer. While trying to install the driver and software, I downloaded the 

HPEasyStart-13.6.5-DJ2700_51_4_4865_1_Webpack.exe from the HP Driver support page. It gives the following error:

This software does not support this version of windows. Please search on hp.com for the appropriate software for your product.

 

Can anyone help with the solution or link to the correct driver software file.

Dear Irwin6

 

I followed you instructions but they didn't work. Also, I was in touch with Mohit who confirmed that this particular printer doesn't work with Windows 7 anymore. It is really disappointing that the website and the printer itself mentions that it works for windows 7 but the official customer service confirms that it doesn't work anymore.

I am sorry to hear that the above steps did not help much.

 

Install the printer with Windows built-in driver.

You can refer to this document to install the printer and let me know if that resolves the issue.
