HP Deskjet 2810e - printer not connecting

Hi community,

Purchased MacBookAir M5 (macOS Golden Gate 27.0.1), attempting to connect with HP Deskjet 2810e printer - message coming up again and again = 'printer not connected'.  Would be very grateful for any suggestions, thank you.

1. Please follow steps from the next video to setup printer,

• first setup in your mobile phone,

2. Please remember that Deskjet 2810e printer

      is only compatible to work with 2,4 Wifi network.

3. Then once you install printer in Mobile phone

• then go to install in Macbook computer, using HP app, steps are the same. 😇

Many thanks for your reaction! Thanks to your help I managed to do the first set up on my mobile phone. (I was aware of the 2,4 Wifi network compatibility needed, but still have no idea where you can actually literally see this. Following the instructions in the YouTube tutorial you sent, however, seemed to do the trick).

Wifi on the printer via mobile phone works.

But installing the printer next -via the HP App- did not succeed. The message coming up was, repeatedly: 'Unable to get printer status'.

After unplugging/plugging, the connection between printer and laptop now works via the USB-cable. I added the printer via the settings/printer under Apple settings - not via the HP App (app did not detect the printer).

So, the main thing: printer works! But not via wifi.
