Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After installation of software version 28.1.1307 from HP homepage my printer programm does not start.

Installation of printer works, but when I click then on open to open the software for printing and scanning, the software does not open on the computer.

On a other computer with version 28.0.1315.0 the printer works with the software. But unfortunately I don´t have the installation file of this version.

Can you please provide me the old software version 28.0.1315.0, so that I can install this?

Thanks

Hi,

This is unlikely due to any software version, any such occur due to a corrupt user profile on the computer.

First, try following below steps under 'Step 2: Install the software patch manually > Windows 8' and check if that may make any difference, it is fully applicable for Windows 10 as well:

https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c03640384

Now try launching the HP Software and check for any difference, If the same persists please create a new administrator account on your computer and test for any difference while trying to launch the HP software from the other user:
