HP Deskjet 3630
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there

 

I have been facing this issue printing wirelessly with the HP Deskjet 3630 printer after I purchased a new computer running on Windows 10 Home 64-bit. All other computers are running Windows 7, they are printing perfectly with the printer wirelessly. I have tried reinstalling the drivers using the CD given as well as the most updated driver online. I still get this message of Attention Required whenever I sent a print job. The job queue will show the print job but it will never print out. I have also tried using the HP Print & Scan Doctor to possibly detect and fix the error but to no avail. The printer will only work with this Windows 10 computer if connected via USB cable. 

 

I have read many posts on the forum that this error has been occurring for many users with Windows 10 on this model or some similar models of printers. I have tried most of the suggested solutions including clearing the spooler, deleting the root HP driver at the printui.exe /s and etc . but it does not work at all. I have attached a printscreen of me attempting to print a test page after freshly installing the printer driver with the CD given. I really hope HP can provide a fix or new driver update to fix this problem with Windows 10. Or kindly advise what I can do.HP DJ3630 Error.jpg

Hi, Please follow tehse steps to resolve a such

  1. Download HP Print and Scan Doctor. be sure to use the following link which include a different version..
  2. Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
  3. Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, ensure it list HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.0.3.
  4. If version 5.1 is shown please let me know, else continue following the next steps.
  5. Click Start, and then select your printer.
    • If your printer in not in the list, turn it off and on, and then click Retry.
    • If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  6. Click Fix Printing and follow the steps on screen, restart the PC once prompt to do so.
  7. Try printing and check for any difference.
