Deskjet 3632
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All.  I recently changed ISP's (went to HughesNet) and was given a new router (Hughes Model HT2000W).  I've been trying to set up wirelessly on my Deskjet 3632 by downloading the latest HP software (DJ3630__Full_WebPack_1107.exe) but it won't do it - it says it cannot connect to my router.  However, it does let me use a USB cable.  Searching on this forum, I noticed that there is a way to completely resotre my printer to full factory default (I've tried all the partial reset methods); however, it seems that the solutions provided by the HP experts are only sent by private messaging.  I was wondering if one of these experts would please forward the full Factory Reset instructions to me as well.  It would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

Hi rjoeng,

You would not need to restore the whole printer settings but only the wireless network settings of your printer.

Please follow 'Connect a printer that does not have a touchscreen control panel > Step 2: Connect the printer with the HP Smart app > Windows 10' to restore the wireless settings and connect the printer to your new router:

Hi Shlomi, and thanks for your help.  I was able to connect to the router, but the printer still will not print.  I get an error message that says "the printer has a configuration problem".  The blue light is on and is solid by the wireless button, but the light next to the WiFi Direct button is a steady white.  Shouldn't this light be blue also?  Could the configuration problem be realted to WiFi Direct?
