HP DeskJet 3752 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

My daughter recently gave me her HP Deskjet 3752 printer when she purchased a bigger printer.  I cannot get it to setup using the online instructions.  I don't know that much about printers but I can follow instructions and this is just not working.   I have downloaded the updated drivers for my laptop.  When I plugged it in, it said the black ink was empty so I bought a new HP cartridge.  It still shows empty.   My laptop can detect the printer but wifi will not connect.  No matter what I do that wifi light on the control panel just blinks.  Also, there is a red light blinking just to the left of the "i" button.   I'm hoping someone has some sort of remedy for me as I have just about reached the end of my rope with this thing. I don't know what other information I need to include here.   Help!  Please??

After many days I finally got this printer set up to use.  Now the issue is the brand new black ink cartridge is still showing empty.  I have done all the troubleshooting I can find to fix it to no avail.  Tried resetting the printer.  Cleaned cartridges twice, once with just a soft cloth and once with alcohol/water solution, also cleaning the part on the printer that the cartridges touch.  The electrodes I guess is what they are called.  Still shows black is empty.  Still will not print.  The only other thing I can guess I need to do is take it in for repair.  Anyone have any other suggestions?
