Hello Kim478,

Thank you for sharing your concern.

If your HP DeskJet 4152e occasionally allows printing from documents but not from email, it could be a software or connectivity issue. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

1. Verify Connections
Check Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected properly to your computer via USB or is connected to the same Wi-Fi network if using wireless printing.
Reboot Devices: Restart your printer, computer, and router to reset the connections.

2. Update Printer Drivers
Update Drivers: Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest drivers for your DeskJet 4152e. This can resolve compatibility issues that may prevent printing.

3. Printer Settings
Default Printer: Make sure the DeskJet 4152e is set as the default printer on your computer.
Clear Print Queue: Sometimes print jobs can be stuck in the queue. Clear the print queue in your printer settings.

4. Software Settings
Email Application Settings: Check the settings of the email application you are using to ensure it's configured to send print jobs properly. This can also involve reinstalling or updating the email client.
Format Compatibility: Ensure the emails or attachments are in a printable format. Sometimes, specific formats might not be compatible or need additional handling.

5. Printer Troubleshooter
Run Troubleshooter: Use the built-in printer troubleshooter found in Windows settings under "Update & Security" > "Troubleshoot" > "Printer."

6. Print from Different Sources
Test with Different Email Clients: Try printing from a web-based email client if you normally use a desktop application, or vice versa.
Print as PDF: As a workaround, you can print emails to PDF first, and then print the resulting PDF file from your computer.

7. Reinstall Printer Software
Uninstall and Reinstall: Uninstall the current printer software, then reinstall it using the latest version from HP’s website.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may consider reaching out to HP Support for more detailed assistance
