I purchased a used HP Deskjet and am trying to register it with Instant Ink.

I've received an error stating that the printer is already associated with another account and cannot be added to mine.

Error code: UA_400_EB000U0422

 

I have no way of contacting the original owner of the printer. How can I remove it from the account it's currently associated with and add it to mine?

1. Please follow steps from the next video:

2.  Then try again to register your printer with Instant Ink:

>> https://instantink.hpconnected.com/us/en/l/v2

 

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted as Solution when question is answered.

Ok, if that doesn´t work then you may need to contact HP Support for Instant Ink service reset.
