Hi
I have a HP Deskjet F2235 All-in-One printer that is at least 15-20 years old. My laptop (the same age - bought at the same time) is currently running Windows 10 (not sure if its 32 or 64 bit). Just wondering if there is any available software upgrades available from HP that I can download that will let me use the printer with Windows 10, or is it of absolutely no use now?

Hello TallDragon,
Your hardware is too old to receive an update. As long as it's working, don't touch anything.

Hi ferRx
Thanks for the reply.
Will this allow me to use the printer with Windows 10? The printer was designed to be used with Vista or Windows 7.
Also, can you still get ink cartridges for this model (the ones in the printer have dried out)?
No point me in trying to download software updates and trying to get it to work if i can't get ink for it.

Hi Bernard42
Thanks for the reply.
I'm a little confused as i had another response that indicated there was an update. As far as i know the printer still works (can't test it as the ink has dried out). I'm trying to figure out whether to throw it out or keep it. As it was designed to be used with Vista or Windows 7, if there is a software update that will allow me to use it with Windows 10, then i'll keep it, but if not, them i may as well toss it.
Provided of course i can still get ink cartridges for this model? Do you know?

Hello @TalDragon,
The problem is finding HP toners.
And then there's the age of the printer...and operating software.
I only find compatible toners.
