Hi @BarryHWhite

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for explaining that. The HP Deskjet F2480 is an older model, and while it doesn’t have dedicated Windows 11 drivers, you can still get it working by using compatible software.

Here’s how to proceed:

Steps to Download and Install the Driver

  1. Visit the HP Deskjet F2480 support page.
  2. Select Windows 10 (64-bit) as your operating system—this driver is generally compatible with Windows 11.
  3. Download the Full Feature Software and Driver package listed.
  4. Once downloaded:
    • Right-click the installer file.
    • Select Properties > Compatibility tab.
    • Enable Compatibility Mode for Windows 10.
    • Click Apply, then run the installer.

Print Using Windows Built-In Driver

1. Connect the Printer

  • USB Connection: Plug the printer directly into your PC using a USB cable.
  • Network Connection: Ensure both the printer and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi or Ethernet network.

2. Add the Printer in Windows

  • Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click Add device and wait for Windows to detect your printer.
  • If listed, select it and click Add device.
  • If not listed, click The printer that I want isn’t listed and follow the prompts to add it manually.

3. Use the Built-In Driver

  • Once added, Windows will assign a basic driver automatically.
  • You can now print from any application by selecting File > Print and choosing your HP printer.

If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
