HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-One Printer
Android 9.0 Pie

Hello. I know that I can use my printer on Android (13) through USB OTG. But I still have a couple of questions:

1. Does it support HP Smart?

1a. (If yes) How can I set it up? I cannot find it on the list.

1b. (If no) Are there any plans to add support for it?

2. Can I use it wirelessly (by connecting the USB to a router)? I want to know if it does support wireless printing in that way. (Also, please recommend (cheap) routers/modems for that)

It's crazy how I got no answer for this question...

To answer my own questions:

1. HP Smart only support printer models with drivers released after 2010, apparently. Out of service printers are not expected to be added.

2. Not sure, but it seems that it is not possible. There's no one who used that method on the internet (yet).

PS. I'm asking these questions because this specific printer (F4280) is not listed in the "Mobile printing solutions for HP printers" page. Would be nice if you add it there too.....
