HP Deskjet doesn’t support A5 printing

I have an hp deskjet with the hp+ subscription. I’m trying to print on A5 paper but after an entire afternoon of troubleshooting and talking with customer service it turns out it doesn’t support this size which I think is stupid but whatever. Ik I can’t be the only one who has navigated this, A5 feels like a pretty standard size imo. Are there any work around to this? I have a ton of A5 paper and would like to use it vs outsourcing my project
