HP Deskjet F2240 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 11, I cannot get my HP Deskjet F2240 to work.  I believe I need a driver but when I search for it on HP it does not have an option for Windows 11.  My old laptop was on Windows 7.  Is the F2240 compatible with Windows 11 or do I need to buy a new printer?

Hi@Keith138

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Deskjet F2240 All-In-One Printer not working with Windows 11.

I have a few recommendations

  • Uninstall then reinstall the printer software and drivers to continue using the printer.
  • Download and install the latest printer software and drivers from 123.hp.com.
  • Click this link to see if your printer is supported in Windows 11, as well as the compatible software and drivers available to download. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4839960-4840167-16

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
