HP Deskjet 3752
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed a new router and since have not been able to print to my HP Deskjet 3752 from any of the Microsoft apps, PDF's, or web pages.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the all the HP software multiple times.  I run HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.2.1 and get the message "There is a problem with your software that cannot be fixed by this tool.  Remove the software by clicking "Uninstall."  Reinstall the software with the product CD or by downloading the lastest Full Feature software from HP Customer Care."  Scan Doctor tells me the HP Uninstaller component is not present.  I use Windows Add/Remove program from the control panel.  I've searched the HP Community,  I've tried "Support & Troubleshooting," and "Software & Driver Downloads."

The printer has an IP address and is visible on the router and in the Microsoft Control Panel.  Scan Doctor is able to print a test page to the printer.  The printer made a copy  just fine.  I even cleared the spooler per the instrunctions in another post.  Please help.

Welcome to HP support community.

Assign manual IP address and that should fix the issue.

To identify which IP address is currently assigned to the printer, do the following:

  • Press the Wireless button and Information button at the same time to print the network configuration page,

Setting a Static IP Address

Once you know your printer’s IP address, entering it is pretty easy. Here’s what you do:

HP Printer Static IP Address

  1. Run your Web browser.
  2. In the Web browser’s address bar, type the IP address of your printer and press Enter. Assuming you entered the right address, the HP printer control panel should appear.
  3. Click the Networking tab.
  4. Under Connections, click Wired.
  5. Under IP Address Configuration, click Manual IP.
  6. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway in the appropriate boxes.
  7. Click Apply.
