Product: ENVY 4520 All-in-one
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Brother printer that has an automatic cleaning cycle. Once a day it automatically goes into a cleaning stage. I have the Brother as it has a 12" X 17" scan and print capability. I have the HP ENVY 4520 All-in-one for every day use and was wondering if the ENVY has an automatic cleaning cycle like the Brother.

@Bouldergolfer, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

When you mention the cleaning cycle, are you referring to the ink system cleaning? If yes, I would like to inform you that the HP Envy 4520 does not have an auto cleaning cycle. And cleaning is required only if you have any print quality related issues. 

 

If you have any print quality issues as such, refer to the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues for troubleshooting steps.
