So I bought an HP ENVY 5030. It works perfectly well via the 'HP Smart-App' on the smartphone.
Unfortunately, this is not the case via my laptop. So I can give print commands to the printer from the laptop. However, scanning jobs from the printer to the laptop is difficult.
To solve that I tried to download the correct recommended software via the 'HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.3.1'.
In vain I keep getting a 'download failed' message which allows me to click 'again' over and over again because no problem is solved and only suggestions emerge that might cause it.
How come my laptop cannot install the required software properly?
Does anyone know of any advice or advice on this issue?

Dus ik heb een HP ENVY 5030 gekocht. Via de 'HP Smart-App' op de smartphone werkt hij perfect naar behoren.
Helaas is dat het geval niet zo via mijn laptop. Ik kan dus wel vanuit de laptop print opdrachten geven aan de printer. Maar scan opdrachten vanuit de printer naar de laptop gaat moeizaam.
Om dat te kunnen oplossen heb ik via de 'HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.3.1' het juiste aanbevolen software te proberen downloaden.
Tevergeefs krijg ik telkens een melding 'download mislukt' waardoor ik telkens keer op keer 'opnieuw' mag aanklikken omdat er geen probleem wordt opgelost en alleen maar suggesties te voorschijn komen waardoor het zou kunnen komen.
Hoe komt het dat mijn laptop het verreisde software niet zoals behoren kan installeren?
Weet iemand raad of advies over dit probleem?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
The HP software must be completely uninstalled and removed of the system.
First download only this complete package: "HP ENVY 5000 All-in-One Print and Scan Driver and Accessories ".
Then proceed as follows:
- Disconnect printer/scanner from computer- Disable WLAN and/or remove the USB or LAN cable.- Do not switch off the printer >> unplug the power cord from the socket!
- uninstall all HP software > via "Programs and Features" and "Uninstalling the Printer Software (Windows) " Step 2
- Restart the PC
- File-Explorer, search for "HP [printer name]"and delete all this folders
- Empty the TEMP folders
A) C:\Users\[Your user account]\AppData\Local\Temp\
B) C:\Windows\Temp\ system files cannot be deleted! - Reconnect the printer to the power supply and switch it on (if this does not happen automatically)
- Please note: WLAN has to be deactivated!
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads click on the EXE,
File name: EN5000_Full_WebPack_44.4.2678.exe (127.5 MB).
Via USB, means wait until the installation asks to connect the printer/scanner. Document error messages, even better is a screenshot and upload here.The network configuration or the type of connection can be changed later, read here.
