HP ENVY 5052 - NEED TO UPDATE DRIVER

When I try to update software and drivers- it says "this portlet is unavailable" and of course, the warranty status of the printer is expired.  How do you update these? It will not print anything and I am unable to purchase anything in HP ink because the printer isn't updated.
