I have 3 computers that print using the HP EVNY 7640 for the past 2 years with no problems until the last 2 weeks. All computers are on Windows 10. Two of the three computers print through my wireless network. The other computer prints via USB. The 2 printers that print through the wireless network have not been able to print for the past 2 weeks and when I attempt to print I get messages that indicate "Printer is Off Line" or "Printer is not available". I have uninsalled and reinstalled the printer software on all 3 computers and still have the problem. I have checked my Linksys router and it shows the printer as "On Line" . I have made no changes to any software or routers other than normal Windows 10 updates. The wireless network itself seems to be working just fine. I have no problems printing with USB connection. I have check the wireless settings on the printer itself and they look OK to me.
Suggestions on how to fix are appreciated & thank you

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support community!
- The Wifi network that you have is that a 2.4GHz network or a 5GHz network?
- The Wireless light on the printer, is that blinking or solid?
- Do you have any security software or antivirus installed on the 2 PCs?
Let's try these steps:
Step 1: Restart the WiFi Router, Printer, and PC
- Turn off the Wifi Router, wait for 60 seconds, turn it back on.
- Turn off the Printer, wait for 60 seconds, turn it back on.
- Restart the PC
- Try to print
- If the issue persists, proceed to the next step
Step 2: Run the Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor
to automatically diagnose and resolve printer hardware and connection issues.
- After the Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Fix Printing to test your printer, and then follow any instructions to resolve the issue.
- Try to print after running the Print and Scan Doctor. If the error persists, continue to the next step.
Step 3: Check the connectivity
- Make sure the Printer and PC are connected on the same WiFi network.
- Obtain the IP address of the printer by touching the
icon on the printer control panel.
- Open a web browser(like Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc.)
- On the address bar, type the IP address of the printer and hit Enter.
- Check if it opens the EWS page of the printer. (Refer to the below example)
- Go to the Tools menu on the EWS page and try to print a self-test page.
- Check if it prints

Just an FYI - The wireless network is 2.5Ghz - The wireless light is solid on the printer. I have Comodo anti virus which I disabbled to see if I could print but no luck. I have done step 1 - did not solve the problem. I have done step 2 (Scan Doctor). The good news is that the scan doctor recognized the printer. It fixed some "port issues". Then I ran a test page. It would not print. I clicked on the "did not print" button and the scan doctor app froze up and I had to restart the computer. I ran scan doctor again, same problem, the app froze up when I click on the "did not print" button after running the test page.
I have not done step 3 yet. Will do so shortly.
PS - I have no other computer related issues. All computers work well & my Linksys router / network works well for everything else
Thanks for your interest

Let's try Printing the Network Configuration Page.
From the main menu on the printer control panel, slide the screen from right to left to access the set-up menu.
Go to 'Network Set Up'>'Print Reports' > 'Network Configuration Page'
Please share the Report.
Also, there would be a setting called 'Channel' on the router.
Printers have less wireless interferences on channels 1,6 or 11.
If the channel is set to a different number, try changing it to 1,6 or 11 for better connectivity with the printer.
Try to print again.
Let me know what happens.
Cheers!

Router channel is set to "Auto" for the 2.4Ghz network. I went to change it to channel 1 but I got a message saying all of my devices will be disconnected if I do so, so I stopped for the time being, because I am not sure how to reconnect all devices (I have about 12 devices on my network)

You can change the Router channel to 1,6, or 11. It would not affect the devices already connected.
Please try switching the 3 channels if they do not work.
In case if you face any network issues, you can switch back to the old settings.
Cheers!
