In my control panel under the printer's name it says "driver unavailable."
On HP smart print - it will not let me print because i've not installed the printer correctly.
I have used a link to check that there are no outstanding updates on windows 10 - everything is up to date.
I downloaded HP Easy Start, this is the link i used and downloaded from https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/closure/hp-easy-start/7376041?ssfFlag=true&sku=
It eventually takes me to a page that gives me two options - to install a basic driver, or Full driver software - i selected the full option. The file is extracted. I receive a notification asking me if i want to run the software - i click "YES" and then nothing happens after that. The "driver unavailable" error is still there and I still can't print anything.
please can someone help?

Hi @Marium1,
I'd be happy to assist you!
Let's try and uninstall the printer software from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.
--->In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
--->Select your HP printer.
--->Select Uninstall.
--->In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
--->In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
--->Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
--->Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
--->Click on the Drivers tab.
--->Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
--->Select OK.
--->Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
--->Close Devices and Printers.
And then reinstall the printer full-featured drivers from software and drivers page
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
