HP ENVY Photo 6220

it has been 8 months since my HP printer has become absolute **bleep** . It has frustrated me to core that i thought to through into bin but let me give a go if i get a help.

Since last 8 months , printer keeps trying to download software and failing . The infinate sequnce is here

Start printer

Connect printer to internet

Printer try to download sofware and getting failed .

Then gives you two option , either to retry or click on OK .

Click on retry doesn't do anythng and if you click OK it will reboot

after reboot you back to step 1

This loops is infinite /endless  - no stopping since 8 months .

I have tried so many option in last 8 months such as

- restrore to factory default - DID not help

- installed dignostic tool

- Try to stop printer update but it keeps gives error saying printer is busy . There is only 5-10min I get to do something once printer is conectected to internet . Once it start downling software/firmware it goes in loop.

This is not a printer but torture

Any help on this is highly appreciated

@Slokaarya, Welcome to HP Support Community!

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps!
