Here're the basics. Two variables have changed recently: 1) I added a VPN (ExpressVPN) and 2) I changed the admin password on the wireless router to something less obvious than "admin/password" (really! That's the default setting). All of our devices have since been updated with the new userid and passwords for the wireless network.
Our HP ENVY Photo 7100 series (7155, to be exact) decided to stop printing after those variables were instituted.
1) The printer's network configuration page claims the printer is online to the wireless router, as does the printer's screen.
2) The wireless router is identifying the printer as part of the wireless network. I checked the 192.168.0.1 page to verify this.
3) My ChromeBook claims the printer is unavailable (offline), and I cannot find an obvious means of reinstating it. Attempting to add the printer manually leaves me empty as well. Message comes up stating the printer is unavailable or doesn't exist. I might need some help with exactly what settings I should use in adding the printer manually.
4) Neither my wife nor I can print from our phones or from her MacBook Pro or iPad.
5) We have tried depowering everything: router, printer, phones, ChromeBook, MacBook Pro, iPad. No joy.
Calling all gremlin hunters!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's restore the network settings on the Printer: 1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Network Setup. 3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored. 4. Touch Yes. 5. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.
Once done, connect the Printer back to the Wi-Fi.
