Product: HP ENVY Photo 7858

I have an HP ENVY Photo 7858 printer.

 

It won't boot.

 

When I plug the printer in, I get a screen with an HP logo, a blue bar, and some dots.  It just sits on this screen and doesn't do anything.

 

The screen is unresponsive, and I can't press the power button.

 

When I unplug the printer and then plug it back in, it just sits on this screen.  It won't connect to WiFi at all so I can't debug it from my computer.  I can't attempt to upgrade the firmware.

 

I've tried to remove the print cardridges to cause an error, but that doesn't do anything.

 

We have made no recent changes to the printer.  It was working until a few days ago.

 

There are no error messages on the screen.

 

I've tried doing a longer reset by unplugging it for 2-3 minutes and then holding the power button to remove any remaining charge, and that does nothing.

 

In another forum post I saw that it recommended to do an "advanced reset", but I'm not sure how to try this.
