Recently bought the HP ENVY Pro 6455 All-in-One Printer.
The goal is to be able to wirelessly print from chrome books, laptops, and all apple devices.
This was initially successfully set up through the HP smart app.
Recently a message appeared through the app "printer unavailable"
We have not been able to successfully add the printer as an accessory to our home wifi, and therefore are unable to print from any device. Any help is appreciated please. Thanks!!

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Let's try a reset on the printer. This resource shows you how it's done:

After a reset, use the HP Smart on the iOS phone or computer to add the printer to the network.
For Chromebook scanning, this resource will be useful.
Hope that helps!

I had a similar problem with an HP 3755 and got help from an HP chrome book expert. In your browser search for “hp print for chrome”. One thing that will pop up will be an ap. Follow the directions to install the ap making sure that your chrome book and printer are on the same network. The add on should install with you simply answering a few questions. I then restarted the chrome book and the printer worked like a charm
