Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Having all sorts of issues with the scanner not scanning direct to my iMac, so uninstalled all the HP drivers/software and went to the website to get latest, which only gave the option of using the HP Easy Start to install.

 

So downloaded, and it detected my printer BUT when I get to the installation page, and AFTER having entered my admin password, it just hangs with what looks like it has frozen trying to download the Essential Software and HP Easy Scan software. I even left it for about half an hour and no movement what so ever

 

Any help would be REALLY appreciated as I cant use it now!

Well it looks like I found the answer myself..

 

Use this to find the actrual answer. I had to use an earlier version of easy start
