Hello Roselyn,
Please try the below steps that should resolve the issue ..
- While the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from back of the printer.
- Power of the wireless Router.
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- Plug in the power cord to the printer. Printer should power on automatically, if not then press the Power button to do so.
- Wait untill the printer initializes and is idle.
- If there are no errors as stated in, then Power ON the router.
If issue still persists, please call HP Tech Support for further assistance.
If you are in US , the toll free # is 1-800-474-6836 .
If you are not in US , then log on to www.hp.com , at bottom-left corner there is a world map icon, click on it and then select the region you belong to, which would then provide support options for you for that region.

Thanks for your help but the same problem came back this morning when I switched my printer on. I went through the same solution you gave me. Please is there any permanent solution.
The scanner and copier are not functioning properly . The images are blurred, just lines showing on the paper?

Hello,
I guess we could try one last troubleshooting step i.e upgrade the printer firmware .
Please click here to access the page , select the OS from the list, then click on + besides Firmware to expand it , then click on Download and follow the steps.
