Thanking anyone in advance for taking the time to help me! Firstly, I am not computer savvy -- even remotely. So, I am guessing the reason I can no longer print encrypted jobs is because the certificate has expired. I know my printer is old and the most current driver is likely the culprit; however, it's a great little printer for home use and I'm hoping someone can help me resolve the problem (without having to buy a new printer). I've spent hours online today trying to figure out how to work around the issue. Creating a self-signed certificate came up often, but it seems undoable as I've no idea how to access the printer's configurations ... or whatever or wherever it is that the current certificate is preventing me from printing out copies of cashed checks for tax purposes. Any thoughts?

- First, you'll need to find your printer's IP address. You can do this by going to your computer's settings:
- On Windows, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and look for the IP address in the printer properties.
- On a Mac, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and check the details for the IP address.
- Once you have the IP address, open a web browser and enter http://[your printer's IP address] (replace with your actual IP). If that doesn’t work, try https://[your printer's IP address].
Login to the Printer:
- You might need a username and password to log in. Check your printer's manual for default credentials or try using admin as the username and leaving the password blank.
Create a New Self-Signed Certificate:
- Once logged in, navigate to the Network Security settings or Certificates section. Here, you should find an option to create a new self-signed certificate. Follow the on-screen instructions to generate this certificate.
