Hi all. Not sure which of the Microsoft updates it was, but ever since, I cannot print reliably from my PC. It will start to print, long pause, and then just spit out the paper with not even 10% of what was supposed to be printed, printed. I currently have it hooked up via WIFI, but it exhibits the same problem hooked up via USB. The printer prints fine from my mobile phone. I have tried all the various remedies found on the web. Including just recently, uninstalling all HP software via add/remove programs, followed up by deleting any corresponding files in Regedit, then running CCleaner, restarting the PC, then as administrator, reinstalled the most current drivers available. The printer will print fine initially, but upon a system reboot, I get an error message stating "scan to pc" not working. Which is fine, I don't need that, but it seems the printer is getting blocked somehow by Windows. Is the printer just plain too old, and driver support isn't there for Windows 11? Thank you for any help.

Hi @HillaryClinton,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with setting up HP Envy 4500 E All-in-one. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To assist you better:
- How far is the printer located from the WiFi router?
- Do you have a dual-band router?
- If you have a dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
