Having an issue with the printer not printing documents in colour when printed from the PC. However it works fine when I copy a colour document directly from the printer itself (not using the PC).
From what I have read on the forums it will probably be a drivers issue and I will need to uninstall the printer, download the correct drivers and reinstall.
My question is will doing this affect my Instant Ink subscription? ie. will the printer automatically reconnect to Instant Ink or will I need to do something extra to link it up again?
Also can you point me toward some simple instructions on how to uninstall and reinstall the printer?
Thanks.

Yes! you can fully uninstall your Printer and Printer Drivers from Windows 10. 1st Please go to HP website and search for your HP Envy 4523 support and download the Full Web Pack that contains Driver and other software. The HP Instant Ink website will connect to your printer as before via the internet. If you happened to perform any printing , HP will update the page count. Since you have already Registered your HP Envy 4523 and enrolled in HP Instant Ink plan you should be fine. Remember HP has your IP Address, MAC address , Printer Serial Number and Model. If you have any other questions just use the HP CHAT line for assistance. In Windows 10 or any other Microsoft Operating System such as Window 8.1 or Windows 7, goto CONROL PANEL then DEVICE MANAGER locate Printers, Right Mouse click and scroll to the Printer you want to Uninstall. Windows 10 will automatically identify your Printer if you have a Printer to USB cable connected from the Printer to Laptop/Desktop USB port. Otherwise you must download and install the HP Web Pack or use the Printer Display Screen features to set it up. Also while at the HP Website you should download the HP Envy 4523 Users Guide/ Manual . Overall you should be finished in under 30 minutes and no longer than 1 hour. I do apologize but this is not Rocket Science. I am certain you will manage just fine. Have confidence in yourself and have patience.
