HP ENVY 5014 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Aftyer several years of working properly, HP Envy 5014 Printer does not recognize black ink cartridge, it does reconize the color ink carteidge. I have tried everything suggeted to fix this problem many times, but to no avail!  My Country is USA, serial number is [Personal Information Removed]

I see that the printer is not reading the black ink cartridge. Make sure you are using HP inks.

  • Do you get any errors?
  • Have you tried an alternate black ink cartridge and check if that works?

 

Check if the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error

 

If the issue persists with more than 1 black ink cartridge,
