Envy 6020

Hello,

 

I purchased a reconditioned HP Envy 6020 and it was not delivered with set up cartridges. How can I get the printer to work without these cartridges?

 

I also managed to connect the printer to my Wifi before I inserted the cartridges but I have since changed WiFi and it can no longer see the printer.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

If you do not have setup cartridges, I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Restore network settings to default settings and connect the printer to WiFi using HP smart app 

Press and hold Wireless button on the back of the printer for at least three seconds. Then the printer enters the Auto Wireless Connect (AWC) setup mode. It keeps searching and waiting for the HP Smart app to connect within about two hours, and then stops searching.
