HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer
macOS 15.0 Sequoia

I've had this printer for 3 years, it worked fine with a wireless connection to my iMac and the wi-fi system.

But since I've had a new router installed by my wi-fi provider, which is working ok, connecting to internet and recognising phones and other devices, but it doesn't recognise my printer.

I've tried connecting it and checked with the wi-fi provider, but nothing seems to work, the router doesn't recognise the printer, the iMac says it;s offline and my iPhone can't find it.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Please reset the wireless once there is a change in router or Internet service provider.

This resource shows how it's done:

After the reset, setup again and it should discover the printer.

Hope that helps!

Hi thanks for this. Unfortunately it didn’t work to use the steps you suggested. I finally got it fixed talking to the HP help line, by removing the printer from my account and then setting it up as if it was a new one, it was then quite straightforward to connect it using the HP app.
