Hi

I have been given a HP Envy 6020 printer, which has only been out of the box and put away and never used.

I have only one set up cartridge for the colour and the black one is missing.

Is there any way I can purchase another set up cartridge or is there another way round having to use set up cartridge so that I can use printer with normal black ink cartridge.

Thank you.

Hi @MadsB1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I understand you are receiving a "use setup cartridges" error.

Setup cartridges cannot be purchased, but if you have regular cartridges  then we could perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
